Internship FAQ's:
As a HUNT-EAS intern, you won’t be on the sidelines. Interns are active members of project teams and contribute to real, ongoing work.
Depending on your discipline and experience, your responsibilities may include:
• Assisting with design development and production
• Supporting engineers, architects, designers, and project managers
• Working with industry-standard software and tools
• Participating in team meetings and project coordination
• Conducting research, calculations, field work, or site visits
• Learning how projects progress from concept through constructionEvery internship is designed to provide practical experience that builds confidence and prepares you for your next career step.

Each intern is supported by a manager and mentor who provide guidance and feedback throughout the internship. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, learn from experienced professionals, and gain insight into day-to-day life in the A/E industry.

Hourly rates are based on level of education, previous experience, and talent.
Traditionally Internships at HUNT occur during summer and winter breaks, however, we are more than happy to work with schedules during the school year as well if hours are needed for Co-Op requirements.

Intern Benefits
Paid Sick Leave
Temporary employees will accrue sick leave at the rate of one hour for every thirty hours worked to a maximum of 56 hours in a year.
Hands On Experience
Interns work alongside project teams on real, active projects contributing to drawings, design development, and field work depending on discipline.
