Licensed Structural Engineer

About the Role

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team on a variety of building projects, providing structural design and analysis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform structural design and analysis for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.

•Prepare construction documents, including drawings and specifications.

•Provide construction administration services.

•Conduct structural inspections and assessments of existing buildings.

•Prepare technical reports and documentation for project deliverables.

•Review and apply design codes such as the New York State Building Code, International Building Code, ASCE-07, AISC, and ACI.

•Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.

•Effectively communicate and collaborate with project team members, clients, and stakeholders.

•Take initiative in problem-solving and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt.

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

•Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience.

•Licensed Professional Engineer (PE or SE) required.

•Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD or RAM.

•Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and mathematical skills.

•Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
