Prattsburgh Central School District

The Prattsburgh Central School District has established a longstanding partnership with HUNT to oversee various capital improvement projects aimed at enhancing critical infrastructure elements. Collaborating closely with the district, HUNT has conducted multiple Building Condition Surveys (BCS) to assess and prioritize immediate needs. These surveys have prompted the district to undertake several capital improvement initiatives, including the redesign of underutilized spaces to better align with the educational and space planning requirements.

One notable project involved the creation of a Large Group Instruction (LGI) room, catering to both distance learning and traditional classroom teaching, alongside a versatile teaching area accommodating diverse instructional methods. Furthermore, the initial endeavor included essential site enhancements, upgrades to corridor finishes, acoustical improvements in the cafeteria, window replacements, and restoration of the 1936 facade.

HUNT has also assumed responsibility for project planning, design, and construction administration for a comprehensive renovation project, which transformed three computer labs into a dynamic media center within the Main Building.

This initiative integrated energy-efficient enhancements, the replacement of gymnasium lighting, upgrades to security cameras, HVAC controls, and the installation of new heating units. Also included in this project were energy-efficient upgrades, gymnasium lighting replacement, complete upgrade of all security cameras, HVAC controls, and new heating units.

A recent BCS conducted by HUNT prompted a significant $7.5M Capital Project for Prattsburgh CSD. This multifaceted endeavor involved replacing the soccer field and playground, enhancing site infrastructure, updating wireless technology, and fortifying district-wide access control.
