HUNT recently attended the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) Annual Conference on March 8th, at the Hershey Lodge, in Hershey, PA.
PASBO is a statewide association, 4,100 members strong. Members are professionals working in business school operations that include finance, facilities, transportation, and food management, technology administration, communications, HR, payroll, purchasing, and safety services. The mission of PASBO is to develop and support leaders in school business operations.
PASBO is also a significant entity in advocating for PA schools and students with Pennsylvania’s legislators and other collaborators interested in education throughout Pennsylvania. PASBO provides members with training on how to effectively interact with government officials responsible for governing schools and making laws that affect school business operations.
Each year the conference is attended by over 700 PASBO members. The conference offers keynote speakers, informative sessions and ample opportunities for networking.
HUNT was able to provide information on the broad range of services HUNT offers and discuss with attendees how HUNT has long partnered with local K-12 districts throughout the region, providing cost-effective, full-service expertise.
