HUNT is searching for a Transportation Engineering Professional in our Rochester, NY, Horseheads, NY, and Binghamton, NY offices.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour Day shift. Monday-Friday.

Wage Range: $52,000 - $60,000 per year. Salary commensurate with experience and talent.

This Transportation Engineering Position will work with a professional engineer to design and detail plans on a variety of projects, including State/County highways, bridge rehabilitation/replacement, local roads, and other site/civil projects. There will be opportunities to engage projects at all stages of design and construction including feasibility, design decisions, drainage, permitting, bidding, and construction administration. Education + Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience, preferably with EIT

• Strong knowledge and experience in local and state linear transportation, pavement design, and drainage system evaluation

• Microstation and/or AutoCAD Civil3D

• Intersection design and turning lane warrants, and maintenance and protection of traffic plans

• Good technical writing skills

• Traffic analysis experience (SYNCHRO), SWPPP design experience

• Knowledge in plan and specification preparation
