Three New Associates Named Within HUNT


Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors & Landscape Architect, DPC (HUNT) announces that three employees have been promoted to Associates in the firm.


Individuals earning associate status have demonstrated outstanding job performance and commitment to the company.

Josh Bezio, AIA is an Architect and Project Manager for HUNT’s K-12 clients. Starting at HUNT in 2010, Josh quickly became an integral part of the team and used his high level of Revit software knowledge to act as BIM Manager for 6 years. He manages several major K-12 projects including Dryden, Homer and South Seneca Central School Districts. In addition to his software proficiencies, he has been on the forefront of advancing HUNT’s technical tools and introduced virtual reality capabilities for use in projects. Josh earned his professional license in 2020. An active member of his community, Josh is on the Board of the United Way of the Southern Tier and the Corning Area Young Professionals as well as a member of the AIA Southern New York Chapter. He and his wife Anne have four children, Michael, 8, Matthew, 6, Miles, 3, and recently welcomed Madelyn, 4 months. They currently live in the Corning area and enjoy traveling, coaching their children’s sports teams and camping.


Director of Survey, Jeffrey Hughes, PLS joined HUNT in 2001, shortly after the HUNT headquarters was relocated to the internally designed building in Horseheads. With over 25 years of experience, Jeffrey is responsible for overseeing the survey department, managing projects and utilizing his vast array of technical skills to create comprehensive topographic and land boundary surveys. He is also versed in GIS and processing drone data to create maps. Jeffrey is licensed in New York and affiliated with the NYS Association of Professional Land Surveyors. He and his wife Veronica have a 12-year old daughter, Mia and live in the Town of Howard. As a family they enjoy going on fishing trips to Canada, snowmobiling, gardening and working on their home.


Timothy Olmstead, PLS is a Land Surveyor who began working at HUNT in 1985. He uses his experience and skill at managing precise survey data to produce calculations of photogrammetric, geodetic, horizontal and vertical control projects. He specializes in creating boundary solutions as well as ALTA maps that are used for solar sites, housing facilities and high-rate improvement sites. Timothy works in a variety of different markets including municipal, transportation and education, providing survey information for projects throughout the company. Earning his professional land surveying license in 1995, he’s been a key member of the survey department and resource for others in the group. He and his wife Vicki live in Big Flats, NY and have two children, Joshua, 36 and Kaitlin, 34. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling in their RV and kayaking.
