HUNT offices are located in Albany, Binghamton, Horseheads, Rochester, Towanda (PA).


This Transportation Engineer Position will work with a professional engineer to design and detail plans on a variety of projects, including State/County highways, bridge rehabilitation/replacement, local roads, and other site/civil projects. There will be opportunities to engage projects at all stages of design and construction including feasibility, design decisions, drainage, permitting, bidding, and construction administration. A qualified candidate for the Transportation Engineering Position:

• Shall have minimum five (5) years’ experience, preferably with EIT, PE is a plus.
• Candidate shall have strong knowledge and experience in the following: local and state linear
transportation, pavement design, drainage system evaluation, Microstation and/or AutoCAD Civil3D,
intersection design and turning lane warrants, and maintenance and protection of traffic plans, NYSDOT
Specifications and details.
• In addition, top candidates will have good technical writing and communication skills, and knowledge in
plan and specification preparation.


Wage Range: $75,000-$95,000 per year. Salary commensurate with experience and talent.
