As we embark on new growth opportunities, we seek a Renewable Energy Design Engineer who embodies our values and vision, ready to contribute to our legacy and culture.

Role Overview

This new team member will join our Solar Team within the Site/Civil group to design and develop plans for a variety of impactful projects, with a primary focus on solar energy systems. The role offers opportunities to engage in all stages of design and construction, including system design, feasibility studies, site assessment and layout, permitting and compliance, utility coordination, and construction support.

This role is open to our Rochester, NY office.

Candidate Qualifications

• 0-4 years of experience in renewable energy, civil engineering, or related fields

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for site design and development

• Team-oriented with a proactive, "can-do" attitude

• Solid understanding of engineering principles, construction practices, and renewable energy systems

• Experience or capability in site layout, grading, stormwater management, permitting, and utility coordination for renewable energy projects

• Holds an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or is eligible to obtain one within one year

Compensation

Wage Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year. Salary commensurate with education, experience, and talent.
