HUNT is searching for an Electrical Engineering Technician to join our Horseheads, NY team.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour Day shift. Monday-Friday.

Wage Range: $41,600 - $52,000 per year. Salary commensurate with experience and talent. 

HUNT’s Electrical Engineering Department designs lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems to assure safe, reliable, and energy efficient operation with a focus on sustainability and cost-effective solutions. This employee will focus on developing a working knowledge of electrical engineering design and drafting for a wide range of facility types and projects varying in size and complexity. Applicant shall exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills while collaborating with all other disciplines to create constructible designs.

Education + Qualifications

• Candidate should be familiar with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Word. 

• REVIT knowledge a plus. 

• Prepare and review drawings to communicate engineering design. 

• Working collaboratively with multidiscipline design team per direction of project leads. 

• BS in Electrical Engineering/Technology preferred. 

• Applicants with AS in technical disciplines are welcome.
