Opportunity Information + Key Responsibilities

HUNT is searching for a Bridge Designer / Project Engineer for one of the three locations, Horseheads, Rochester or Binghamton, NY offices.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour Day shift. Monday-Friday.

Wage Range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year. Salary commensurate with experience and talent.

This Position will work with a professional engineer to design and detail plans on a variety of projects, including State/County highways, bridge rehabilitation/replacement, and culvert projects. There will be opportunities to engage projects at all stages of design and construction including feasibility, design decisions, drainage, permitting, bidding, and construction administration. Education + Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience, preferably with EIT, PE is a plus

• Strong knowledge and experience in local and state bridge rehabilitation/replacement projects, culvert projects, and NYSDOT Specifications/ details

• Microstation experience is a must

• Good technical writing and communication skills

• Knowledge in plan, specification and estimate preparation
