HUNT is searching for a BIM Detailer/ Production Technician to join our Horseheads, NY or Rochester, NY team.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour Day shift. Monday-Friday.

Wage Range: $80,000 - $83,000 per year. Salary commensurate with experience and talent.

HUNT is a multi-discipline firm with experience in Architectural design, Structural, MEP, Site/ Civil, and Technology Engineering. The successful BIM Detailer candidate will work closely with other technicians, designers and engineers on various projects using BIM software, 3D Revit, and AutoCAD. BIM Detailer/ Production Technicians work in a wide variety of project types including land development, municipal, commercial, K-12 schools and mixed-use building projects. Must have the ability and aptitude to produce BIM models and CAD drawings to a high standard delivering quality documents, develop wall panel layouts, and fabrication reports. Other duties include but are not limited to 3D modeling/coordination for all disciplines, assisting engineers and designers with field measurements of existing building systems, preparing drawings from field data, performing drawing maintenance, and running prints as needed.

Education + Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in BIM

• Knowledge of BIM standards and symbols

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to function well in high paced environment

• Experience with AutoCAD / REVIT / MicroStation / Civil 3D, Microsoft office and other 3D applications

• Well-rounded and organized

• Experience within the AEC/Construction Industry (Preferred)

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
