HUNT is searching to fill an Accounting Position in our Horseheads, NY office.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour Day shift. Monday - Friday

Wage Range: $49,920 - $ 56,160 per year. Salary commensurate with experience and talent.

Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors & Landscape Architect, DPC is seeking to fill an accounting position at our Horseheads, NY office. Applicant must have experience in payable/receivable, payroll, general accounting, financial reporting, annual audit preparation, budget preparation and monitoring.

Education + Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to express verbal and written information in a concise, accurate and appropriate manner.

• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a fast-paced office while meeting deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• High computer literacy skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.

• Knowledge of the Consulting Engineering, Architectural, and Surveying industry a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of experience.
