The mission of the NYS Department of Transportation is to ensure that those who live, work and travel in New York State have a safe, efficient, balanced and environmentally sound transportation system. HUNT supports this mission by providing timely and cost-effective design of transportation facilities and systems.

The New York State Thruway Authority provides motorists from within New York State and beyond with a safe, well-maintained 570-mile superhighway system -- one of the longest toll roads in the U.S. HUNT is proud to support these efforts by providing engineering design and project management that support NYSTA's commitment to customer service, safety, and the environment.

HUNT is retained by the New York State Office of General Services to assist in their mission to provide, architectural, engineering, and construction management services involving approximately 10,000 state buildings at more than 850 locations statewide. HUNT provides a wide range of services to NYSOGS, including land survey and building condition assessments, many of which are provided under term agreements.

Design work for the US Postal Services covers the full range of architectural and engineering challenges. USPS has many historical buildings for which HUNT has designed renovations that preserve the historical character of the buildings, while introducing technology and energy efficiency to increase productivity and reduce operating costs.
