Hunt Drive Extension, Horseheads, NY

Project Description: Wetland creation was created as a trade for wetland encroachment to extend the existing road to access developable land. This road, as part of the continuing expansion of Airport Corporate Park in Horseheads, NY, was extended for a new manufacturing facility that had requested a specific parcel located slightly outside the initial designation of the park. HUNT wetland specialists worked closely with Chemung County government and the local IDA to secure the permitting for this wetland replacement.
