Glen Theater, Watkins Glen, NY

Project Description: HUNT was hired to make renovations to the historic Glen Theater, while keeping in mind its place within the streetscape of historic downtown Watkins Glen. The project team designed a new building facade, which included molded brick to replace the stucco exterior, a new marquee and curved canopy that kept the historic look but incorporated more durable materials, and the installation of low-energy LED signs. Interior renovations included repainting of the floor and many of the accent pieces, and installation of new stage lights.
