Hunt Sponsors Santa’s Reindeer at Parade

When the crowds gathered to watch the holiday parade in Towanda, PA on December 2, Santa’s Second-String Reindeer were be on hand, thanks to Hunt Engineers, Architects & Land Surveyors, P.C.Hunt team

The reindeer are looked after by Mike Cary, a veterinarian who has more than thirty of them on his farm in Canton, NY. Mike started raising them as a hobby in 1997. Reindeer come from the Tundra region and can withstand severely cold temperatures.

Engineer Darin Rathbun, PE, who manages the HUNT Towanda office, said his company’s motivation for sponsoring the reindeer is to provide visible support to the community through such events. “The Towanda business community has made us feel very welcome since we relocated our Pennsylvania Santaoffices there earlier this year,” Rathbun said. “We live and work here, and we are committed to being part of the life of the community.”
