David Hartman to Lead NYSCHSA Board
Friday, January 27, 2012The staff at HUNT offers congratulations to our client, David Hartman, Yates County Highway Superintendent, on the occasion of his being named President of the Executive Committee of the New York State County Highway Superintendent’s Association.
A non-profit organization founded in 1909, the NYSCHSA promotes the construction and maintenance of a safe and modern system of county roads and other allied transportation infrastructure maintained by county government. The organization provides information, education, and advocacy for its members.
The Yates County Highway Department's mission is to provide the traveling public with a safe and efficient transportation system that includes 181 miles of roads and 40 bridges. The Department accomplishes its mission through a five year capital plan for new construction projects, road and bridge maintenance or replacement projects, improving traffic control devices, & pavement markings, maintaining and updating the vehicle & equipment fleet and by providing customer services to property owners on County Roads. The Department also provides snow and ice control services as needed.
