Canisteo Source Development & Water Storage, Canisteo, NY Required by statute to replace a two-million gallon open reservoir, the village asked HUNT to develop a previously started well and construct a one-million gallon, pre-cast, wire-wound tank. The tank is 80 feet in diameter and 26 feet high. To mitigate the view impact, the structure was nestled in a wooded area on the edge of the village. The total project included well development, well house, related water main and storage tank for $1.2 million.
